Swindon Wildcats 1 Peterborough Phantoms 4
Has the play off dream been shttered for the Cats
After a string of recent loses Swindon needed to pull a win out the bag to keep there playoff hopes alive.
The first period saw good defending from both sides as neither team were able to find the net and the period ended at stalemate.
The 2nd period saw a string of goals the first came from the home side through Danilics giving Swindon a 1-0 lead.
The lead didn’t last long before the Phantoms scored the equalising goal. Peterborough scored twice more and the 2nd period ended with a 3-1 lead for the visitors.
The Wildcats tried to get back into the game in the 3rd but were unable to find the net and Peterborough scored there 4th of the night and the game ended with a convincing 4-1 win to the Phantoms.
The loss meant that Peterborough moved above them in the league and now occupy the last play off slot.
With a home double header next week Swindon need to step up there game or will miss out on this years playoffs.
